Details
A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, was found in DataEase up to 2.10.22. Affected is the function save of the file /de2api/templateManage/save of the component Template Manage. The manipulation of the argument staticResource name with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. This is going to have an impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability. CVE summarizes:
DataEase is an open source data visualization and analysis tool. Prior to 2.10.23, DataEase template saves call TemplateManageService#save, StaticResourceServer#saveFilesToServe, and the /de2api/templateManage/save endpoint with attacker-controlled staticResource names and Base64 content, allowing path traversal and arbitrary file writes because only / was used when extracting the file name. This issue is fixed in version 2.10.23.
The advisory is shared for download at github.com. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2026-45419 since 05/12/2026. The exploitability is told to be easy.
