Details
A vulnerability was found in knadh listmonk up to 6.1.x. It has been rated as critical. This issue affects the function QuerySubscribersForExport of the file internal/core/subscribers.go of the component Export. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a injection vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-74. The product constructs all or part of a command, data structure, or record using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify how it is parsed or interpreted when it is sent to a downstream component. Impacted is confidentiality, integrity, and availability. The summary by CVE is:
listmonk is a standalone, self-hosted, newsletter and mailing list manager. Prior to 6.2.0, listmonk’s GET /api/subscribers/export endpoint injects the user-controlled query parameter into QuerySubscribersForExport in internal/core/subscribers.go without calling validateQueryTables, unlike GET /api/subscribers, allowing an authenticated user with subscribers:sql_query and subscribers:get_all to read arbitrary database tables such as users and settings and execute data-modifying PostgreSQL CTEs. This issue is fixed in version 6.2.0.
The advisory is shared at github.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2026-62361 since 07/14/2026. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely. Technical details are known, but no exploit is available. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1055 for this issue.
