A vulnerability was found in mirc 6.34 (Chat Software) and classified as critical. This issue affects the function PRIVMSG. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a memory corruption vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-119. Stack-based buffer overflow in mIRC 6.34 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a long hostname in a PRIVMSG message.
