Details
A vulnerability classified as critical has been found in Ghisler Total Commander 2.0.9. This affects some unknown processing of the component fileinfo. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a code injection vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-94. The product constructs all or part of a code segment using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the syntax or behavior of the intended code segment. This is going to have an impact on integrity. The summary by CVE is:
CRLF injection vulnerability in the Fileinfo 2.0.9 plugin for Total Commander allows user-assisted remote attackers to spoof the information in the Image File Header tab via strings with CRLF sequences in the IMAGE_EXPORT_DIRECTORY array in a PE file, which could complicate forensics investigations.
