Details
A vulnerability was found in Asterisk-Addons 1.2.7/1.4.3 (Communications System). It has been declared as critical. This vulnerability affects an unknown functionality of the component MySQL. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-89. The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. As an impact it is known to affect confidentiality, integrity, and availability. CVE summarizes:
Multiple SQL injection vulnerabilities in cdr_addon_mysql in Asterisk-Addons before 1.2.8, and 1.4.x before 1.4.4, allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the (1) source and (2) destination numbers, and probably (3) SIP URI, when inserting a record.
The weakness was disclosed 10/16/2007 (Website). The advisory is shared for download at lists.grok.org.uk. This vulnerability was named CVE-2007-5488 since 10/16/2007.
