Details
A vulnerability was found in getgrav Grav up to 2.0.6 and classified as problematic. Affected by this issue is the function Blueprint::dynamicData of the file system/src/Grav/Common/Data/Blueprint.php of the component Blueprint. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a os command injection vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-78. The product constructs all or part of an OS command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended OS command when it is sent to a downstream component. Impacted is confidentiality, integrity, and availability. CVE summarizes:
Grav is a file-based Web platform. Prior to 2.0.7, Grav Blueprint::dynamicData() in system/src/Grav/Common/Data/Blueprint.php sends an editor-controlled Class::method provider and arguments to call_user_func_array() without rejecting dangerous callback parameters. An account with admin.pages or api.pages.write can use Grav\Common\Utils::arrayFilterRecursive() as a trampoline with system as the callback, place a command in page frontmatter, and execute that command as the web server user when the page is viewed. This issue is fixed in version 2.0.7.
The advisory is shared for download at github.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2026-64850 since 07/20/2026. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be launched remotely. Additional levels of successful authentication are necessary for exploitation. There are known technical details, but no exploit is available.
