CVSS Meta Temp Score
CVSS is a standardized scoring system to determine possibilities of attacks. The Temp Score considers temporal factors like disclosure, exploit and countermeasures. The unique Meta Score calculates the average score of different sources to provide a normalized scoring system.
Current Exploit Price (≈)
Our analysts are monitoring exploit markets and are in contact with vulnerability brokers. The range indicates the observed or calculated exploit price to be seen on exploit markets. A good indicator to understand the monetary effort required for and the popularity of an attack.
CTI Interest Score
Our Cyber Threat Intelligence team is monitoring different web sites, mailing lists, exploit markets and social media networks. The CTI Interest Score identifies the interest of attackers and the security community for this specific vulnerability in real-time. A high score indicates an elevated risk to be targeted for this vulnerability.

Detailsinfo

A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in PLANET Technology PLANET GS-4210-16P2S up to 3.441b260625. This issue affects the function web_radiusSrv*_post of the file /cgi-bin/dispatcher.cgi of the component Dispatcher. The manipulation of the argument radKey/radKey_0/radDftParamKey/radName/radIp with an unknown input leads to a stack-based overflow vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-121. A stack-based buffer overflow condition is a condition where the buffer being overwritten is allocated on the stack (i.e., is a local variable or, rarely, a parameter to a function). Impacted is availability. The summary by CVE is:

PLANET GS-4210-16P2S firmware before 3.441b260626 contains authenticated stack buffer overflow and null pointer dereference vulnerabilities in /cgi-bin/dispatcher.cgi. The web_radiusSrv*_post family of handlers copies the radKey, radKey_0, radDftParamKey, radName, and radIp POST parameters into fixed-size stack buffers without length validation, and additionally dereferences radName and radIp without verifying their presence in the request. A remote authenticated attacker can send crafted requests to crash the CGI process or web management service, resulting in denial of service.

The advisory is shared at planet.com.tw. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2026-77217 since 08/20/2026. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely. Technical details are known, but no exploit is available.
