Details
A vulnerability was found in SciPhi-AI R2R up to 3.6.6. It has been declared as critical. This vulnerability affects an unknown part of the component Retrieval Search Endpoint. The manipulation of the argument filter with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-89. The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. As an impact it is known to affect confidentiality, integrity, and availability. CVE summarizes:
R2R through 3.6.6 contains a SQL injection vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to inject SQL predicates into the chunks search query by manipulating the filter key parameter in the retrieval search endpoint. Attackers can exploit the direct interpolation of filter keys into the SQL WHERE clause without parameterization or escaping to perform time-based and boolean-based data exfiltration from the application database.
The advisory is available at github.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2026-82527 since 08/29/2026. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Technical details are known, but there is no available exploit. This vulnerability is assigned to T1505 by the MITRE ATT&CK project.
