Details
A vulnerability classified as problematic was found in Google Cloud Agent Development Kit up to 1.21.x. Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown part of the component Builder Endpoint. The manipulation of the argument file_path with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. As an impact it is known to affect confidentiality. The summary by CVE is:
A Path Traversal vulnerability in the builder endpoint in Google Cloud Agent Development Kit (ADK) versions 1.9.0 through 1.21.0 on Python allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to read arbitrary files using a crafted file_path query parameter.
