A vulnerability was found in Eurologon CMS (Content Management System) (version now known). It has been classified as critical. This affects some unknown processing of the file users/files.php. The manipulation of the argument file with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. Directory traversal vulnerability in users/files.php in Eurologon CMS allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files via a .. (dot dot) in the file parameter in a download action, as demonstrated by a certain PHP file containing database credentials.
