The bug was discovered 12/21/2007. The weakness was disclosed 12/28/2007 by Daiki Fukumori with Secure Sky Technology (Website). The advisory is shared at sunsolve.sun.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2007-6569 since 12/28/2007. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation.
