SAP MaxDB 7.6.03 build 007 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands via "&&" and other shell metacharacters in exec_sdbinfo and other unspecified commands, which are executed when MaxDB invokes cons.exe.
The bug was discovered 01/09/2008. The weakness was published 01/11/2008 by Luigi Auriemma (Website). The advisory is shared at xforce.iss.net. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2008-0244 since 01/11/2008. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely.
