Multiple unspecified vulnerabilities in Oracle Database 9.0.1.5 FIPS+, 9.2.0.8, 9.2.0.8DV, 10.1.0.5, and 10.2.0.3 have unknown impact and remote attack vectors, related to the (1) Advanced Queuing component (DB02) and (2) Oracle Spatial component (DB04).
The weakness was released 01/17/2008 by Esteban Martinez Fayo (Alex) with Application Security, Inc. (Website). The advisory is available at us-cert.gov. This vulnerability was named CVE-2008-0340 since 01/17/2008. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Technical details are unknown but a public exploit is available. The structure of the vulnerability defines a possible price range of USD $0-$5k at the moment (estimation calculated on 08/03/2019).
A public exploit has been developed in SQL. It is possible to download the exploit at securityfocus.com. It is declared as proof-of-concept. As 0-day the estimated underground price was around $25k-$100k.
