Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the font rendering functionality in Novemberborn sIFR 2.0.2 allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the txt parameter to a Flash (SWF) file, as demonstrated by fonts/FuturaLt.swf.
The weakness was released 07/04/2007 with ProCheckUp (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at securityfocus.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2008-0438 since 01/23/2008. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction.
