Details
A vulnerability classified as problematic has been found in jishenghua jshERP up to 3.6. Affected is some unknown processing of the file /user/info of the component User Info Endpoint. The manipulation of the argument user_id with an unknown input leads to a weak password hash vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-916. The product generates a hash for a password, but it uses a scheme that does not provide a sufficient level of computational effort that would make password cracking attacks infeasible or expensive. This is going to have an impact on confidentiality. CVE summarizes:
jshERP through 3.6 fails to redact password hashes in the /user/info endpoint, allowing authenticated users to retrieve unsalted MD5 password digests for any user. Attackers can request arbitrary user information by supplying user IDs to obtain password hashes usable for offline cracking or direct authentication bypass.
