A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, has been found in Qt Group Qt up to 6.8.8/6.11.1. This issue affects the function QXmlStreamReader::readElementText of the component QXmlStreamReader. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a recursion vulnerability. Uncontrolled recursion in QXmlStreamReader::readElementText() in Qt Group Qt allows attackers to cause a denial of service (application crash via stack exhaustion) via a crafted XML document.
