CVSS Meta Temp Score
CVSS is a standardized scoring system to determine possibilities of attacks. The Temp Score considers temporal factors like disclosure, exploit and countermeasures. The unique Meta Score calculates the average score of different sources to provide a normalized scoring system.
Current Exploit Price (≈)
Our analysts are monitoring exploit markets and are in contact with vulnerability brokers. The range indicates the observed or calculated exploit price to be seen on exploit markets. A good indicator to understand the monetary effort required for and the popularity of an attack.
CTI Interest Score
Our Cyber Threat Intelligence team is monitoring different web sites, mailing lists, exploit markets and social media networks. The CTI Interest Score identifies the interest of attackers and the security community for this specific vulnerability in real-time. A high score indicates an elevated risk to be targeted for this vulnerability.

Detailsinfo

A vulnerability has been found in RabbitMQ and classified as critical. Affected by this vulnerability is the function ssl_options of the component SSL Options. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a channel accessible vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-300. The product does not adequately verify the identity of actors at both ends of a communication channel, or does not adequately ensure the integrity of the channel, in a way that allows the channel to be accessed or influenced by an actor that is not an endpoint. As an impact it is known to affect integrity, and availability. The summary by CVE is:

RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. Prior to versions 3.13.15, 4.0.20, 4.1.11, 4.2.6, and 4.3.0, When no CA bundle is available, ssl_options/1 falls back to [{verify, verify_none}] with no warning. An attacker in a man-in-the-middle position can forge the JWKS response, which leads the broker to accept arbitrary JWTs. Preconditions include The OAuth2 plugin must be in use with no cacertfile configured and the OS CA bundle empty or unreadable (for example, in a minimal container), and the attacker must hold a network man-in-the-middle position.. This issue is fixed in versions 3.13.15, 4.0.20, 4.1.11, 4.2.6, and 4.3.0.

The advisory is shared at github.com. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2026-67404 since 07/29/2026. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploitation doesn't need any form of authentication. Technical details are known, but no exploit is available. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1557 for this issue.

Upgrading to version 3.13.15, 4.0.20, 4.1.11, 4.2.6 or 4.3.0 eliminates this vulnerability.
