The agent in Symantec Altiris Notification Server before 6.0 SP3 R7 allows local users to gain privileges via a "Shatter" style attack.
The bug was discovered 02/06/2008. The weakness was presented 02/11/2008 by Brett Moore with Insomnia Security (Website). The advisory is available at securityfocus.com.
