Details
A vulnerability was found in dbgate up to 7.3.1 and classified as critical. This issue affects the function exportModelSql of the file packages/api/src/controllers/databaseConnections.js of the component Export Handler. The manipulation of the argument outputFile with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. Impacted is integrity, and availability.
