Details
A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, has been found in UnoPim up to 2.0.0/2.1.0. Affected by this issue is an unknown function of the component Host Header. The manipulation of the argument X-Forwarded-Host with an unknown input leads to a redirect vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-601. A web application accepts a user-controlled input that specifies a link to an external site, and uses that link in a Redirect. This simplifies phishing attacks. Impacted is integrity. CVE summarizes:
UnoPim versions before 2.0.1 and 2.1.1 trust all connecting clients as proxies and honor the X-Forwarded-Host header without validation, allowing unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary origins into admin layout pages. Attackers can set X-Forwarded-Host to redirect JavaScript asset loading to their server, and when responses are cached by shared proxies, subsequent administrators execute attacker-supplied code in their authenticated sessions.
