BEA WebLogic Server and WebLogic Express 6.1 through 10.0 allows remote attackers to bypass authentication for application servlets via crafted request headers.
The bug was discovered 02/19/2008. The weakness was disclosed 02/22/2008 (Website). The advisory is shared at dev2dev.bea.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2008-0895 since 02/22/2008. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. Neither technical details nor an exploit are publicly available.
