A vulnerability was found in CTX Feed Pro Plugin up to 7.6.12. It has been classified as problematic. This affects the function eval. The manipulation of the argument Feed Config with an unknown input leads to a code injection vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-94. The product constructs all or part of a code segment using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the syntax or behavior of the intended code segment. This is going to have an impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability. The summary by CVE is:
The CTX Feed Pro plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Code Injection in all versions up to, and including, 7.6.12. This is due to insufficient input validation on the 'Feed Config' field which is passed directly to the eval() function. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Administrator-level access and above, to execute arbitrary PHP code on the server.
