A vulnerability was found in Drogon up to 1.9.13-1/10.0-beta.3 on Windows. It has been rated as problematic. This issue affects the function StaticFileRouter::route of the file lib/src/StaticFileRouter.cc of the component Static File Router. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. Impacted is confidentiality.
