The bug was discovered 02/26/2008. The weakness was published 03/05/2008 with SuSE (Website). The advisory is available at support.novell.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2008-0883 since 02/21/2008. The exploitation appears to be difficult. Local access is required to approach this attack.
