Details
A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in WookTeam up to 1.6.6. Affected by this issue is the function string2array of the file app/Module/Base.php of the component Project Task Export Interface. The manipulation of the argument data with an unknown input leads to a code injection vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-94. The product constructs all or part of a code segment using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the syntax or behavior of the intended code segment. Impacted is confidentiality, integrity, and availability. CVE summarizes:
WookTeam v1.6.6 and before is vulnerable to RCE in the project task export interface /api/project/task/export. The data parameter is base64-decoded and passed directly into the string2array() function in app/Module/Base.php, which executes eval("\$array = $data;") whenever the decoded string starts with array. An attacker can inject arbitrary PHP code into the eval call and achieve RCE.
The advisory is shared for download at github.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2026-88393 since 09/10/2026. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be launched remotely.
