Detailsinfo

A vulnerability was found in Quasar Framework Quasar up to 2.21.x. It has been classified as problematic. Affected is the function getHead of the file ui/src/plugins/meta/Meta.js of the component Serializer. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a cross site scripting vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-79. The product does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes user-controllable input before it is placed in output that is used as a web page that is served to other users. This is going to have an impact on integrity. CVE summarizes:

Quasar Framework is a framework for building high-performance Vue.js user interfaces. Prior to 2.22.0, the SSR-only getHead() serializer in ui/src/plugins/meta/Meta.js used getAttr() to interpolate values supplied through useMeta() into title, meta, link, and script markup without HTML text or quoted-attribute encoding. injectServerMeta() appended that output to the raw server-rendered response. An attacker who can influence dynamic page metadata, such as a post title, product name, excerpt, or display name, can terminate the intended HTML context and inject executable markup before hydration. The client-side apply() path is not affected because it uses DOM APIs that encode attributes. This issue is fixed in version 2.22.0.

The advisory is available at github.com. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2026-106102 since 10/06/2026. The exploitability is told to be easy. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. Technical details are known, but there is no available exploit. This vulnerability is assigned to T1059.007 by the MITRE ATT&CK project.

Upgrading to version 2.22.0 eliminates this vulnerability.
