BugTracker.NET SVN Integration command injection

CVSS Meta Temp Score
CVSS is a standardized scoring system to determine possibilities of attacks. The Temp Score considers temporal factors like disclosure, exploit and countermeasures. The unique Meta Score calculates the average score of different sources to provide a normalized scoring system.
Current Exploit Price (≈)
Our analysts are monitoring exploit markets and are in contact with vulnerability brokers. The range indicates the observed or calculated exploit price to be seen on exploit markets. A good indicator to understand the monetary effort required for and the popularity of an attack.
CTI Interest Score
Our Cyber Threat Intelligence team is monitoring different web sites, mailing lists, exploit markets and social media networks. The CTI Interest Score identifies the interest of attackers and the security community for this specific vulnerability in real-time. A high score indicates an elevated risk to be targeted for this vulnerability.

Summaryinfo

A vulnerability was found in BugTracker.NET. It has been classified as problematic. Affected by this issue is some unknown functionality of the component SVN Integration. The manipulation leads to command injection. This vulnerability is referenced as CVE-2026-92531. Remote exploitation of the attack is possible. No exploit is available.

Detailsinfo

A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, has been found in BugTracker.NET (unknown version). This issue affects an unknown code block of the component SVN Integration. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a command injection vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-77. The product constructs all or part of a command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended command when it is sent to a downstream component. Impacted is confidentiality, integrity, and availability. The summary by CVE is:

Operating system command injection vulnerability in the SVN integration component of BugTracker.NET. The application incorporates the value of the field corresponding to the repository into an svn.exe command without properly validating it. An authenticated user with administrator privileges could store manipulated arguments in the database and subsequently cause them to be processed by the revision comparison functionality. A successful exploit could allow the execution of arbitrary commands with the privileges of the account used by the application. To exploit this vulnerability, svn.exe must be installed and capable of being invoked by the service.

The advisory is shared at incibe.es. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2026-92531 since 09/16/2026. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely. The exploitation requires an enhanced level of successful authentication. Neither technical details nor an exploit are publicly available. The price for an exploit might be around USD $0-$5k at the moment (estimation calculated on 10/07/2026). MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1202 for this issue.

There is no information about possible countermeasures known. It may be suggested to replace the affected object with an alternative product.
