Aorimn Dislocker up to 0.7.3 Datum get_vmk/get_fvek datum_size integer underflow

CVSS Meta Temp Score
CVSS is a standardized scoring system to determine possibilities of attacks. The Temp Score considers temporal factors like disclosure, exploit and countermeasures. The unique Meta Score calculates the average score of different sources to provide a normalized scoring system.
Current Exploit Price (≈)
Our analysts are monitoring exploit markets and are in contact with vulnerability brokers. The range indicates the observed or calculated exploit price to be seen on exploit markets. A good indicator to understand the monetary effort required for and the popularity of an attack.
CTI Interest Score
Our Cyber Threat Intelligence team is monitoring different web sites, mailing lists, exploit markets and social media networks. The CTI Interest Score identifies the interest of attackers and the security community for this specific vulnerability in real-time. A high score indicates an elevated risk to be targeted for this vulnerability.

The manipulation of the argument datum_size results in integer underflow. This vulnerability is identified as CVE-2026-107635. The attack is only possible with local access. There is not any exploit available. It is best practice to apply a patch to resolve this issue.

Detailsinfo

A vulnerability was found in Aorimn Dislocker up to 0.7.3. It has been classified as problematic. Affected is the function get_vmk/get_fvek of the component Datum Handler. The manipulation of the argument datum_size with an unknown input leads to a integer underflow vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-191. The product subtracts one value from another, such that the result is less than the minimum allowable integer value, which produces a value that is not equal to the correct result. This is going to have an impact on availability. CVE summarizes:

Dislocker through 0.7.3 contains an integer underflow vulnerability in get_vmk() and get_fvek() that allows attackers to trigger out-of-bounds heap reads via crafted datum sizes. Attackers can supply a malicious BitLocker volume image with a datum_size smaller than the 36-byte AES-CCM header, causing hexdump() to over-read and crash dislocker.

The advisory is available at github.com. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2026-107635 since 10/08/2026. The exploitability is told to be easy. Local access is required to approach this attack.
