Details
A vulnerability classified as problematic has been found in Riceball Multiple Time Sheets up to 5.0. This affects an unknown part of the file index.php. The manipulation of the argument tab with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. This is going to have an impact on confidentiality. The summary by CVE is:
Directory traversal vulnerability in index.php in Multiple Time Sheets (MTS) 5.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files via "../..//" (modified dot dot) sequences in the tab parameter.
