Details
A vulnerability classified as critical has been found in Jovancoding Network-AI up to 5.15.1. This affects an unknown code of the component ClaudeHookBridge. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a injection vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-74. The product constructs all or part of a command, data structure, or record using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify how it is parsed or interpreted when it is sent to a downstream component. This is going to have an impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability. The summary by CVE is:
Network-AI from 5.14.0 before 5.15.2 contains a security control bypass vulnerability in the ClaudeHookBridge PreToolUse hook, which matches deny patterns only against the first present candidate field. A prompt-injected agent can place dangerous payloads in fields like Write content or an MCP script parameter beside a benign file_path or command, evading denyPatterns to write web shells or execute scripts.
The advisory is shared at github.com. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2026-109331 since 10/12/2026. The exploitability is told to be easy. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. Neither technical details nor an exploit are publicly available. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1055 for this issue.
