Untrusted search path vulnerability in Apple Safari 4.x before 4.1.2 and 5.x before 5.0.2 on Windows allows local users to gain privileges via a Trojan horse explorer.exe (aka Windows Explorer) program in a directory containing a file that had been downloaded by Safari.
The weakness was shared 09/08/2010 with Verschiedene (siehe Apple Advisory) as HT4333 as confirmed advisory (Website). The advisory is available at support.apple.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2010-1805 since 05/06/2010. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation.
