Detailsinfo

A vulnerability was found in cfug dio up to 2.7.x. It has been classified as problematic. Affected is the function Http2Adapter._fetch of the component Http2 Adapter. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a cross-domain policy vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-942. The product uses a cross-domain policy file that includes domains that should not be trusted. This is going to have an impact on confidentiality. CVE summarizes:

Dio is a powerful HTTP client for Dart and Flutter. From 1.0.0 until 2.8.0, dio_http2_adapter follows redirects in Http2Adapter._fetch by copying the original RequestOptions.headers into the redirected HTTP/2 request without comparing the source and destination origins. A server contacted by an application can return a cross-origin Location redirect to a different-origin destination, which then receives preserved Authorization, Cookie, and Proxy-Authorization headers because RequestOptions.copyWith retains the full header map. The issue applies when applications use Http2Adapter for authenticated requests, and redirect following is enabled by default. This issue is fixed in version 2.8.0.

The advisory is shared for download at github.com. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2026-103030 since 09/29/2026. The exploitability is told to be difficult. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. There are known technical details, but no exploit is available.
