Detailsinfo

A vulnerability classified as problematic has been found in Razorpay IFSC up to 2.0.62. Affected is the function IFSC.find of the component IFSC Lookup. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a server-side request forgery vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-918. The web server receives a URL or similar request from an upstream component and retrieves the contents of this URL, but it does not sufficiently ensure that the request is being sent to the expected destination. This is going to have an impact on confidentiality. CVE summarizes:

Razorpay IFSC Ruby gem through 2.0.62 contains a server-side request forgery vulnerability that allows attackers to redirect API requests by supplying a crafted IFSC code to IFSC.find or IFSC#get. Attackers can submit network-path references or absolute URIs that URI.join resolves as a new host, sending GET requests to internal or attacker-chosen hosts and returning parsed response fields.
