Details
A vulnerability classified as critical was found in Omnispace Agora Project up to 26.9.x. This vulnerability affects an unknown function of the file app/Common/MdlCategory.php. The manipulation of the argument _idCategoryFilter with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-89. The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. As an impact it is known to affect confidentiality, integrity, and availability. CVE summarizes:
Omnispace Agora Project before 26.10.0 contains a second-order SQL injection vulnerability that allows authenticated attackers to inject malicious SQL via the _idCategoryFilter parameter, which is persisted into the session and later concatenated into a SQL statement without parameterization. Attackers can store a malicious payload that executes when the filter is subsequently applied in app/Common/MdlCategory.php, leading to unauthorized database access or manipulation.
