Format string vulnerability in EMC DiskXtender MediaStor 6.20.060 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code via a crafted message to the RPC interface.
The weakness was disclosed 04/10/2008 by Stephen Fewer with Harmony Security (Website). The advisory is available at labs.idefense.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2008-0963 since 02/25/2008. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be launched remotely.
