Details
A vulnerability classified as problematic has been found in Khronos Group nnef and nnef-tools (version unknown). Affected is an unknown function of the file graph.nnef. The manipulation of the argument labels with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. This is going to have an impact on integrity. CVE summarizes:
Khronos NNEF-Tools nnef through 1.0.10 and nnef-tools through 1.0.11 contain a path traversal vulnerability that allows attackers to write files outside the model directory via crafted variable labels. Attackers can supply a graph.nnef with '../' sequences or absolute paths in labels to create or overwrite '.dat' files when users convert, save, or generate weights.
