Details
A vulnerability has been found in Apache Airflow Keycloak Provider up to 0.11.0 and classified as critical. Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown part of the component KeycloakJWTMiddleware. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a session expiration vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-613. According to WASC, "Insufficient Session Expiration is when a web site permits an attacker to reuse old session credentials or session IDs for authorization." As an impact it is known to affect confidentiality, integrity, and availability. The summary by CVE is:
The Apache Airflow Keycloak auth manager did not end the session on logout: the logout route revoked the presented token, but `KeycloakJWTMiddleware` then issued a new, unrevoked token on the same response, so the user stayed logged in. Deployments using the Keycloak auth manager are affected: after a user logs out, anyone with later access to the same browser (for example on a shared workstation) can continue to act as that user. Users of apache-airflow-providers-keycloak are recommended to upgrade to apache-airflow-providers-keycloak 0.11.1 or later.
