Details
A vulnerability was found in aio-libs aiohttp up to 3.14.3. It has been classified as problematic. This affects an unknown function of the component Max-Age Processing. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a integer overflow vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-190. The product performs a calculation that can produce an integer overflow or wraparound, when the logic assumes that the resulting value will always be larger than the original value. This can introduce other weaknesses when the calculation is used for resource management or execution control. This is going to have an impact on availability. The summary by CVE is:
AIOHTTP is an asynchronous HTTP client/server framework for asyncio and Python. Prior to 3.14.4, Max-Age processing can overflow and skip closing a connection. An attacker can consequently exhaust the connection pool temporarily until garbage collection resolves the connections. This issue is fixed in version 3.14.4.
The advisory is shared at github.com. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2026-111065 since 10/15/2026. The exploitability is told to be easy. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. No form of authentication is needed for exploitation. Neither technical details nor an exploit are publicly available.
Upgrading to version 3.14.4 eliminates this vulnerability.
