Details
A vulnerability was found in aio-libs aiohttp up to 3.14.3. It has been rated as critical. Affected by this issue is an unknown code. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a input validation vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-20. The product receives input or data, but it does
not validate or incorrectly validates that the input has the
properties that are required to process the data safely and
correctly. Impacted is confidentiality, integrity, and availability. CVE summarizes:
AIOHTTP is an asynchronous HTTP client/server framework for asyncio and Python. Prior to 3.14.4, an attacker can send an absolute-form request that causes Request.scheme to use attacker-controlled request-target scheme data instead of the connection protocol. Applications that use Request.scheme for security decisions can consequently be tricked into treating an unencrypted connection as encrypted or an encrypted connection as unencrypted. This issue is fixed in version 3.14.4.
The advisory is shared for download at github.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2026-111748 since 10/16/2026. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be launched remotely. There are neither technical details nor an exploit publicly available.
