Details
A vulnerability was found in vllm-project vLLM up to 0.30.x. It has been declared as problematic. Affected by this vulnerability is the function InputBatch.condense of the component InputBatch. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a information disclosure vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-200. The product exposes sensitive information to an actor that is not explicitly authorized to have access to that information. As an impact it is known to affect confidentiality. The summary by CVE is:
vLLM before 0.31.0 contains a cross-request mask leak in InputBatch.condense() that allows remote attackers to constrain other clients' outputs by leaving stale allowed_token_ids rows. Attackers can submit concurrent constrained generate requests, including via unauthenticated /invocations, so recycled batch slots apply their token allowlist to victims' unrestricted requests.
The advisory is shared at github.com. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2026-114049 since 10/20/2026. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploitation doesn't need any form of authentication. Technical details are known, but no exploit is available. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1592 for this issue.
