CVSS is a standardized scoring system to determine possibilities of attacks. The Temp Score considers temporal factors like disclosure, exploit and countermeasures. The unique Meta Score calculates the average score of different sources to provide a normalized scoring system.
Current Exploit Price (≈)
Our analysts are monitoring exploit markets and are in contact with vulnerability brokers. The range indicates the observed or calculated exploit price to be seen on exploit markets. A good indicator to understand the monetary effort required for and the popularity of an attack.
CTI Interest Score
Our Cyber Threat Intelligence team is monitoring different web sites, mailing lists, exploit markets and social media networks. The CTI Interest Score identifies the interest of attackers and the security community for this specific vulnerability in real-time. A high score indicates an elevated risk to be targeted for this vulnerability.

Detailsinfo

A vulnerability was found in OnePlus OxygenOS up to 15.0.0.1999/16.0.5.1199/16.1.10.499 and classified as very critical. Affected by this issue is the function getCallingUid of the component olc2 logging HAL. The manipulation of the argument cmd with an unknown input leads to a improper authorization vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-285. The product does not perform or incorrectly performs an authorization check when an actor attempts to access a resource or perform an action. Impacted is confidentiality, integrity, and availability. CVE summarizes:

Exposed dangerous method or function and Incorrect Authorization vulnerability in OnePlus OxygenOS on Android. The olc2 logging HAL exposes a binder method that fork()'s and calls execl("/vendor/bin/sh", "sh", "-c", cmd, NULL) with a caller-supplied command string. The only authorization check is getCallingUid() == 0. Because SELinux policy grants binder access to this HAL to a wide client attribute, any uid-0 process in any of those domains (including dumpstate, which is reachable from an unprivileged app via Vulnerability 1) obtains arbitrary command execution. The spawned shell lands in u:r:vendor_qti_init_shell:s0 SELinux context via a policy type_transition, a domain holding all Linux capabilities. This issue affects OxygenOS: from 16.1.0 before 16.1.10.500, from 16.0.0 before 16.0.5.1200, and from 15.0.0 before 15.0.0.2000.

The advisory is shared for download at blog.nns.ee. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2026-70387 since 08/04/2026. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack needs to be approached locally. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. There are known technical details, but no exploit is available. The current price for an exploit might be approx. USD $0-$5k (estimation calculated on 10/21/2026). The MITRE ATT&CK project declares the attack technique as T1548.002.

Upgrading to version 15.0.0.2000, 16.0.5.1200 or 16.1.10.500 eliminates this vulnerability.

The vulnerability is also documented in the vulnerability database at EUVD (EUVD-2026-107155). Once again VulDB remains the best source for vulnerability data.
