A vulnerability has been found in Xomol CMS 1.20071213 (Content Management System) and classified as critical. Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown functionality of the file index.php. The manipulation of the argument op with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. Directory traversal vulnerability in index.php in Xomol CMS 1.20071213 allows remote attackers to include and execute arbitrary local files via a .. (dot dot) in the op parameter.
