Details
A vulnerability was found in Event Schedule up to 1.0.0 and classified as problematic. Affected by this issue is the function App\Utils\UrlUtils::isUrlSafe of the component SSRF Guard. The manipulation of the argument url with an unknown input leads to a server-side request forgery vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-918. The web server receives a URL or similar request from an upstream component and retrieves the contents of this URL, but it does not sufficiently ensure that the request is being sent to the expected destination. Impacted is confidentiality. CVE summarizes:
Event Schedule is an open-source platform to share events, sell tickets and bring communities together. In versions 1.0.0 and prior, App\Utils\UrlUtils::isUrlSafe() is the SSRF guard applied to user-supplied import URLs. It can be bypassed two ways, both reaching internal/localhost services when the URL is later fetched by ImportCuratorEvents (Http::get($url) then the response body is parsed and imported as events, and file_get_contents($ogImage)). At time of publication, there are no publicly available patches.
The advisory is available at github.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2026-55190 since 06/16/2026. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be launched remotely.
