A vulnerability was found in King-me Product Designer for WooCommerce Plugin up to 2.1.2. It has been declared as problematic. This vulnerability affects the function process_checkout. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. As an impact it is known to affect confidentiality. CVE summarizes:
The Product Designer for WooCommerce WordPress | Lumise plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Directory Traversal in all versions up to, and including, 2.1.2 via the process_checkout function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to read the contents of arbitrary files on the server, which can contain sensitive information. The lumise_security nonce required to reach the vulnerable /?lumise=cart endpoint is freely obtainable by any unauthenticated visitor via the /?lumise=ajax action=init handler, making this exploitable with no prior access or credentials.
