CVSS Meta Temp Score
CVSS is a standardized scoring system to determine possibilities of attacks. The Temp Score considers temporal factors like disclosure, exploit and countermeasures. The unique Meta Score calculates the average score of different sources to provide a normalized scoring system.
Current Exploit Price (≈)
Our analysts are monitoring exploit markets and are in contact with vulnerability brokers. The range indicates the observed or calculated exploit price to be seen on exploit markets. A good indicator to understand the monetary effort required for and the popularity of an attack.
CTI Interest Score
Our Cyber Threat Intelligence team is monitoring different web sites, mailing lists, exploit markets and social media networks. The CTI Interest Score identifies the interest of attackers and the security community for this specific vulnerability in real-time. A high score indicates an elevated risk to be targeted for this vulnerability.

Detailsinfo

A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, was found in WPMU DEV Forminator Forms Plugin up to 1.57.3.1. This affects some unknown processing. The manipulation of the argument previous_draft_id with an unknown input leads to a resource injection vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-99. The product receives input from an upstream component, but it does not restrict or incorrectly restricts the input before it is used as an identifier for a resource that may be outside the intended sphere of control. This is going to have an impact on integrity, and availability. The summary by CVE is:

The Forminator Forms – Contact Form, Payment Form & Custom Form Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insecure Direct Object Reference in all versions up to, and including, 1.57.3.1 via the 'previous_draft_id' parameter due to missing validation on a user controlled key. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to delete arbitrary saved drafts belonging to other users and take over those draft identifiers by overwriting them with attacker-controlled form submissions. This requires the attacker to have obtained a victim's draft_id, which may be harvested from a shared "continue later" link; the nominally present nonce check is effectively bypassed because the nonce is publicly obtainable by any unauthenticated visitor loading a form page.

It is possible to read the advisory at wordfence.com. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2026-97638 since 09/24/2026. The exploitability is told to be easy. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. No form of authentication is needed for exploitation. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction.
