Details
A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, was found in Jovancoding Network-AI up to 5.15.4. This affects the function FileJobStore.get/FileJobStore.delete/JobQueue.getJob of the component FileJobStore. The manipulation of the argument job id with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. This is going to have an impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability. The summary by CVE is:
Network-AI from 5.13.4 before 5.15.5 contains a path traversal vulnerability in FileJobStore that allows attackers to read or delete arbitrary .json files by supplying traversal sequences in the job id. Attackers controlling the id passed to FileJobStore.get(), FileJobStore.delete(), or JobQueue.getJob() can disclose credentials and grant tokens or delete configuration files to weaken AuthGuardian authorization.
