The Aggregation module 5.x before 5.x-4.4 for Drupal allows remote attackers to upload files with arbitrary extensions, and possibly execute arbitrary code, via a crafted feed that allows upload of files with arbitrary extensions.
The weakness was presented 07/03/2008 by Heine Deelstra (Website). The advisory is shared for download at securityfocus.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2008-3001 since 07/03/2008. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. There are neither technical details nor an exploit publicly available.
