Detailsinfo

A vulnerability was found in Red Hat AMQ Broker, Build of Keycloak, Fuse 7, JBoss Enterprise Application Platform, JBoss Enterprise Application Platform Expansion Pack, Satellite 6 and Single Sign-On and classified as critical. This issue affects an unknown code block of the component SAML adapter. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a improper authentication vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-287. When an actor claims to have a given identity, the product does not prove or insufficiently proves that the claim is correct. Impacted is confidentiality, integrity, and availability. The summary by CVE is:

A flaw was found in the SAML adapter component of Keycloak, which is used to secure applications with SAML-based authentication. The adapter fails to verify that the issuer of a signed SAML assertion matches the expected identity provider configured for the application. If multiple identity providers share the same trusted signing key, an attacker who controls one of those providers can create a validly signed assertion to log into the application as any user, potentially gaining full administrative control.
