Details
A vulnerability was found in SuiteCRM up to 7.15.1/8.10.1. It has been declared as problematic. This vulnerability affects the function changeReportPage of the component Report View. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a improper authorization vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-285. The product does not perform or incorrectly performs an authorization check when an actor attempts to access a resource or perform an action. As an impact it is known to affect confidentiality. CVE summarizes:
SuiteCRM is an open-source, enterprise-ready Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software application. Prior to 7.15.2 and 8.10.2, the changeReportPage controller action renders a protected report without repeating the record-level access check enforced by DetailView. The affected flow begins at AOR_Reports and uses changeReportPage, and DetailView to carry attacker-controlled data or authorization state into the security-sensitive operation. An authenticated user can directly invoke the action and read report rows and restricted-module data despite owner-only or role-based report visibility. This issue is fixed in versions 7.15.2 and 8.10.2.
The advisory is shared for download at github.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2026-63218 since 07/16/2026. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be initiated remotely. There are known technical details, but no exploit is available. The MITRE ATT&CK project declares the attack technique as T1548.002.
Upgrading to version 7.15.2 or 8.10.2 eliminates this vulnerability.
