Details
A vulnerability has been found in TPC MatchPoint (the affected version is unknown) and classified as critical. This vulnerability affects an unknown code of the component Push Notification Handler. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-89. The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. As an impact it is known to affect confidentiality, integrity, and availability. CVE summarizes:
SQL injection in the push notification handler of the MatchPoint Android app, which processes messages from Firebase Cloud Messaging and constructs queries by concatenating untrusted data. An attacker capable of interacting with the component could manipulate queries and access sensitive information from the local database, including credentials stored in the versions described in the report. The scope of the injection is limited to the device.
